The apostle Paul was very successful in almost every area of his life. One of his greatest strengths was that he lived a transferable faith in front of Timothy. What does it mean to live a transferable faith?
In our culture today, we tend to shy away from difficulty in life. Why did Paul remind Timothy to “endure hardship”? How can this attitude be beneficial for us and our children?
Read 2 Timothy 2:4-5. What was Paul trying to teach through these two analogies? How important is integrity in our life today?
In 2 Timothy 2:6, Paul changes the analogy to the “hardworking farmer.” Most of us are not familiar with all the work related to farming. Why is hard work necessary for the development of our character?
Sometimes life requires an audible, or course correction. Sometimes the correction can be life-changing. Why are spiritual disciplines like prayer and Bible study so important when it comes to correction?
