Discussion
Use these questions to reflect on this week's message as a family or group.
As a kid, did you tend to follow the crowd or go your own way? Explain.
Where have you seen a series of small, unwise choices turn into big regret in someone’s life? Why do you think it was difficult for that person to see the potential consequences of his or her choices?
Read 1 Corinthians 6:18. In what ways have you planned ahead to “flee” from sexual immorality? How do you help protect your family from outside influence in this area?
What are some ways that the consequences of sinning against your own body are unique compared to other kinds of sin?
Read 1 Corinthians 6:19. Who does our body belong to? Would our culture agree? How can we apply this to how we make decisions?
Read 1 Corinthians 6:20. What was the price paid for our bodies? How can this motivate us to make wise decisions?
