Come and See
John 1:29,35-46

  • We are going to talk about what it means to move from a spectator to a contributor to the mission God’s given the church -- including our local church.

  • Why did you come here for the first time?

    • Someone invited you.

  • John 1:29,35-46

  • “Come and see,” said Philip.

  • The goal isn’t to explain something but to experience someone.

  • Jesus needs to be experienced not explained.

  • The difference between a growing church and a dying church is one word, Invite.

  • The cues are -- trouble -- tension -- and transition.

  • Who do you need to invite to come and see?
