Vision Reveal
Smaller Churches // More Communities
“We exist to help the people of the bay communities find and follow God.”
“We reach people with the gospel, we equip them with a faith that matters, and we send them out to reach people with the gospel…”
What is Vision?
Vision has been defined as a picture of a preferable future.
Mission is what all gospel centered churches have in common and vision is what differentiates us.
Vision is how each church contextualizes the gospel mission.
Different is not wrong.
BayLife is seeking to be a compliment not a competitor with other gospel-centered churches on the shore.
So where does vision come from?
Four components in the formation of vision.
Go to the People
Go to the Mountain
Go to the Spiritual Leaders
Go to Work
What does this formation process look like in a local church?
It takes time!
“We exist to help the people of the Bay communities find and follow God.”
“Church by any means necessary.”
“Reach people with the gospel, equip people with a faith that matters, and send them out to reach people with the gospel.”
Vision is what sets us apart from other great gospel centered churches.
What is our vision?
We want to reach more people // more effectively with the gospel.
