Anger vs. Angry
Ephesians 4:26-32, 1 Samuel 25
Anger: a God-given internal indicator that our sense of justice or righteousness has been violated
Angry: an ongoing, unchecked misapplication of the emotion created by anger which issues forth in destructive thoughts and behaviors
Disordered anger has greater intensity.
Disordered anger tends to occur more frequently and last longer.
Disordered anger leads to damaging consequences.

How do we prevent “Anger” from becoming “Angry”?
1. Listen to counsel.

2. Acknowledge the offense and the offender.
